Francesco Facchinetti (born May 2, 1980 in Milan ), also known as DJ Francesco , is an Italian television presenter , DJ , singer and music producer .

Career

Roby Facchinetti's son began his career as a radio DJ. With the support of producer Claudio Cecchetto , he released the song La canzone del capitano in 2003 , which became a summer hit and instantly made "DJ Francesco" famous. The follow-up single Salta was used as a signature melody on Rai Sport . After participating in the Sanremo Festival 2004 with Era bellissimo , the first album Bella di padella was released . In the same year Facchinetti was among the participants in the reality show L'Isola dei Famosi (Italian version of Survivor ). In 2005 he worked as a voice actor in the animated film Robots .

At the Sanremo Festival 2005 Facchinetti and his DJ Francesco Band presented the song Francesca , which preceded the album Il mondo di Francesca . In 2006 he separated from producer Cecchetto and dropped the "DJ"; as Francesco he released the single Non cado più . The following year he returned to Sanremo with his father and entered the race with Vivere normal , which was followed by the album of the same name. From 2008 to 2010, he hosted the first three seasons of the talent show X Factor on Rai 2 . After further moderation, he appeared in 2015 on the third season of The Voice of Italy at the side of his father as a coach.
