Francesco Molinari-Pradelli
Francesco Molinari-Pradelli (* 4 July 1911 in Bologna , † 8. July 1996 ibid) was one of the most famous Italian operas - conductors of his time.
Molinari-Pradelli studied piano and composition in Bologna and graduated from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome in 1938 . In 1946 he made his debut at La Scala in Milan; 1956 at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden , London.
His recording of Puccini's Turandot with Birgit Nilsson and Franco Corelli is widely regarded as one of the most important recordings of this work.
