Francisco Espartaco García Estrada

Francisco Espartaco García Estrada (born June 4, 1920 in Zacatecas (city) , † June 10, 2004 ) was a Mexican ambassador .

Life

He studied law at the Instituto de Ciencias y Letras , received a corresponding diploma in 1949 and taught in this institution.

From 1956 to 1962 Francisco Espartaco García Estrada was governor of the state of Zacatecas .

In 1957 Zacatecas experienced an economic crisis due to drought and low prices for lead, zinc and copper.

In 1959, the Federal Government of Adolfo López Mateos used the Ejército Mexicano against the population in Zacatecas .

In 1964 he was the substitute representative of the Mexican government at the international organizations in Geneva.

In 1969, during his time as ambassador in Warsaw, he delivered the 160,000 gross registered tons of freighter Bieszczady in Stettin to Polska Zegluga Morska (PZM).

In 1973, during his time as ambassador to Santo Domingo Dominican Republic , Pedro Antonio Casado Jiménez (Pipilo * 1944 in Estero Hondo) was a member of the Movimiento Popular Dominicano received asylum in the embassy. Casado threatened to blow up Cuitlahua García with a hand grenade and a petrol can if he were not allowed safe passage from the Dominican Republic. Casado released the 12-year-old at Las Américas Airport .

He married María Concepción Medina. Her children are Leobardo, María Concepción, Laura, Francisco, Cuitlahua (* 1961) and Amalia García, born on October 6, 1951 .

Estrada died of kidney failure .
