Francisco Gómez (athlete)
Francisco Gómez Hechavarría (born February 7, 1957 in Palma Soriano ) is a former Cuban sprinter and long jumper .
In the long jump he won bronze at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1974 and was sixth at the Pan American Games in 1975 in Mexico City.
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he was fifth in the 4-by-100-meter relay and reached the quarter-finals over 100 m .
