Francisco Gerardo Haghenbeck (* 1965 in Mexico City , Mexico ) is a Mexican book and comic author.

Life

Haghenbeck studied architecture at the Universidad La Salle in his home country before working in museums. He later worked as a television producer. He is the founder of the magazine Costal de Huesos , which deals with the Mexican comic.

Working as a comic book writer

Together with Brian Augustyn and Oscar Pinto , Haghenbeck wrote the script for Crimson between 1999 and 2001 . This was a comic book series of fantasy and horror stories first published by Image Comics and later part of the DC Comics label Wildstorm .

For the government of Mexico City he wrote the comic series Los 7 Pecados capitales (The Seven Deadly Sins), which was intended to encourage the prevention and reporting of criminal offenses. The next release was Los Chidos , a story about birth control for Mexican emigrants . For Editorial Clío its composition appeared Clásicos universal s comics (world classics in comics). In 2010 he published his anthology Un mexicano en cada hijo te dio , as well as the children's book Santa vs los vampiros y los hombres lobo (Santa against the vampires and the wolf people) with Tony Sandoval .
