The Universidad La Salle ( ULSA ) is a private university that has numerous campuses across Mexico . It was founded in 1962 and is part of the Instituto La Salle , which runs private elementary and secondary schools in addition to the university.

Due to the founding history of the mother institute, there are international connections to the Association of Brothers of Christian Schools . In 1970 the university established Mexico's first private medical faculty.
