Francisco Javier González Pérez (born July 14, 1969 in Ribeira ), called Fran , is a former Spanish football player .

Career

Fran made his debut in 1988 for Deportivo La Coruña in the Segunda División . He quickly developed into a regular player and rose with the club in 1991 in the Primera División . His first division debut took place on August 31, 1991. If the direct relegation could only just be prevented in the 1991/92 season , the team now known as Super Depor developed under coach Arsenio Iglesias into a top team in the following season took third place.
