Francisco Walfrido Croes

Francisco Walfrido Croes , called Frido Croes , (born December 3, 1957 in Aruba ) is an Aruban politician.

Life

After graduating from primary school, Croes studied at the Pedagogical Academy of Aruba (Instituto Pedagogico Arubano IPA). After graduating, he worked for 10 years as a teacher at the Colegio San Jose in Santa Cruz, of which he held the position of school director for the last four years. Between 1994 and 2001 he was an Education Officer with the Directorate of Education in Aruba.

Since 1988 Croes has been a member of the social democratic political party Movimiento Electoral di Pueblo . From 1993-1994 he was Vice President of Parliament. In 2001, Croes was elected President of the Parliament of Aruba. Between 2005 and 2009, in the fourth cabinet of Nelson Orlando Oduber , Croes was Plenipotentiary Envoy from Aruba to the Netherlands.
