Francisco da Costa (MP)
Francisco da Costa (born February 21, 1967 in Baucau , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor and a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.
Career
Costa has a law degree. Since 2012 he has been a member of the National Parliament of East Timor and a member of the Commission for Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Jurisprudence and Anti-Corruption (Commission A). In 2017 he was elected one of the deputy chairmen of the CNRT at the party congress. In the 2017 parliamentary elections , however, he failed at number 34 on the CNRT's list and thus left parliament.
