Franco Cavallo (born September 26, 1932 in Naples ) is a former Italian sailor .
successes
Franco Cavallo and Camillo Gargano took part in the Star boat class at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City . They stayed one point behind the Norwegian boat of Peder Lunde junior and Per Olav Wiken , but with 44.7 points they finished third behind the Norwegians and the Olympic champions Peter Barrett and Lowell North and thus secured the bronze medal. As early as 1962 Cavallo won bronze with Vincenzo Fania in Cascais at the European championships.
