Franco Ianieri

Franco Ianieri (born November 3, 1939 in Rome , † February 18, 2016 in Laives ) was an Italian politician.

biography

Ianieri worked in the civil service for the Ministry of Transport. From 1985 to 1990 he was politically active in the Leifers municipal council. Ianieri, who was initially enrolled in the Partito Liberale Italiano , was then one of the founding members of the South Tyrol branch of the Unione di Centro . In 1995, after Armando Magnabosco's death , he moved to the South Tyrolean state parliament and, at the same time, to the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol, to which he belonged until the end of the 1998 legislative period.
