Franco Imoda
Franco Imoda SJ (* 1937 in Turin ) has been consultor of the Congregation for Catholic Education since 2005 and President of AVEPRO since September 2007 .
Life
He studied philosophy in Vals-près-le-Puy in France and theology in Chieri , near Turin . He received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Chicago , and completed his education at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute and the Psychosomatic and Psychiatric Institute of Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago . Before his appointment as rector of the Pontifical Gregorian University from 1998 to 2004, he held a professorship at the Institute of Psychology at this university from 1971.
