Frank-Henning Florian

Frank-Henning Florian (born November 18, 1955 in Braunschweig ) is a German insurance manager. From 2004 to 2017 he was CEO of the personal insurance companies of R + V Versicherung .

Life

Florian studied mathematics and computer science. His career in the insurance industry began when he joined Allianz Lebensversicherung AG in Stuttgart in 1983. He then worked at DBV-Winterthur , where he became CEO of DBV-Winterthur Lebensversicherung AG.

On January 6, 2004, he was appointed to the board of R + V Lebensversicherung AG. On May 1, 2009, he succeeded Rainer Sauerwein as chairman of the board of the personal insurance companies of R + V Versicherung . In addition, he is the chairman of the supervisory board of the R + V group pension fund and the Optima Pensionskasse AG as well as the head of the board of directors of R + V Luxembourg Lebensversicherung SA. At the end of 2017, he retired at his own request.
