Frank Bachmann (born  December 27, 1977 in Waiblingen ) is a former German national volleyball player .

Career

Frank Bachmann played volleyball at home with TSG Backnang as a teenager . He then played at TSV Schmiden and in the First Bundesliga at SV Fellbach , where he became German runner-up in 1998. From 2000 to 2003 the Libero played at SV Bayer Wuppertal , with whom he was also twice runner-up. In 2003, Bachmann moved to league competitor Maoam Mendig . After a short guest appearance at the Italian top club Itas Diatec Trentino in spring 2005, Bachmann returned to the Bundesliga and played first for SG Eltmann and from 2006 at SCC Berlin , where he was runner-up again in his last season. Even after his active career ended in 2008, he remained loyal to the Berliners and now works in the management of Berlin Recycling Volleys .

Frank Bachmann made 57 international matches for the German national team .

Frank Bachmann is married and has a daughter and a son.
