The TSV Schmiden (turn and sports club Schmiden 1902 eV) is the largest sports club in Fellbach and with more than 6,500 members of one of the largest sports clubs in Württemberg .

- In 1988 the first women's team was promoted to the 1st volleyball division . With only one win in the 1988/89 season, the immediate relegation took place. The volleyball players have been playing in the Third League South since 2012 .
- Magdalena Brzeska became a 22-time German champion for TSV Schmiden and took part in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta / USA .
- In 1998 the handball men of the TSV won the Beach Handball Masters in Cuxhaven and thus became the unofficial German beach handball champions .
- Between 1997 and 2000 Sabine Heinrich was four times German champion in the long-distance triathlon .
