Philipp Porges (* 1997 ) is a German handball player .
In his youth, Porges played for HSC Schmiden / Oeffingen and at the same time in the 1st team of TSV Schmiden in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . In the summer of 2016, Porges moved from TSV Schmiden to TVB 1898 Stuttgart . In the 2016/17 season , Porges played for the 2nd team of the TVB in the Württembergliga and was also used in the 1st team in the Bundesliga and in the DHB Cup .
Porges holds the position of a left winger .
Porges also works as a handball referee in the handball district of Rems-Stuttgart.
Philipp Porges is the son of Ralf Porges, a former soccer player and coach at TSV Schmiden.
