Career

After Lösch had played at TSV Schmiden and SV Fellbach in his youth , he was discovered by the Stuttgarter Kickers and played there in the second team. In 1993 he moved to TSF Ditzingen in the league. With the club he qualified a year later for the newly created Regionalliga Süd .

In 1996 Lösch returned to the second division side Stuttgarter Kickers to play there - this time in the first team - for two years before joining Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg in 1998 . Although he was relegated with the “Club”, he remained loyal to it. With Eintracht Frankfurt he returned to the Bundesliga in 2000, but could not convince there and after only one year he left the club again.

Lösch's next stop was again the Kickers team from his native Stuttgart. After only one year of regional league football, he moved to the second division club Eintracht Trier . After two years on the Moselle , I went to Fortuna Düsseldorf for a one-year interlude in the Rhineland . Then he returned to Trier to Eintracht. After relegation to the league , he left the club and played from the summer of 2006 in Ulm at SSV 1846, where he was supposed to help the club as a defensive midfielder in promotion to the regional league. After breaking his elbow for the second time in a short time in a training session in March 2008, he ended his active career. A short time later, he successfully completed a sports management degree and accepted an offer from his last game station to work as managing director for the football club. In the course of the insolvency proceedings against SSV Ulm 1846, which opened in early 2011, Lösch was released from his position.

In July 2011, Markus Lösch was hired by VfB Stuttgart as a scout. A year later, Lösch took over the management of the scouting department at VfB.
