Frank Bergemann

Frank Bergemann (born April 20, 1956 ) is a German handball coach .

Life

Bergemann trained the clubs HG Erlangen and CSG Erlangen before moving to Austria to Alpla HC Hard in 2000 . In 2003 he won the Austrian championship with Hard and was voted coach of the year. From 2007 until his discharge in March 2015, he coached HC Erlangen , with whom he was promoted to the second division in 2008 and the first division in 2014 . In January 2016 he took over the coaching post from the Bundesliga club HBW Balingen-Weilstetten for the rest of the season . After the season just ended, Bergemann's contract was not extended. Since February 2018 he has been coaching the Austrian team Handball Tirol .

Bergemann is a full-time sports teacher at the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium in Erlangen .
