Frank "Dr. Pichelstein “Bröker (born August 31, 1969 in Meppen ) is a German musician, composer and author.

Life

Bröker has been a nurse since 1991 . After his community service he studied (diploma) social work in Münster until 1998. In 2002 he came to Leipzig. There he works full time in a psychiatric clinic.

As early as the 1990s, Bröker was active in the Münster cultural scene as an author, festival organizer and musician ("Caution Screams", "Fette Helden", "Spark * n bow", "Poets in arms"). In 2003, together with Holger “Makarios” Oley (singer of Die Art ), he founded the band The Russian Doctors in Leipzig , which sets alleged poems by the fictional Russian poet SW Pratajev to music. In 2007 the "Pratajev Society" emerged, of which Bröker is the 1st chairman. Bröker and Oley also work together on the Goldeck band project.

Bröker is an ice hockey fan ( Icefighters Leipzig ) and expert and has published four highly regarded books on the subject.
