Frank Catalano

Frank Catalano (born 1977) is an American jazz - saxophonist .

Live and act

Catalano began playing the saxophone at the age of eight and studied at DePaul University . He then played with Louis Bellson and in 1995 with Charles Earland . At the age of 19 he recorded his debut album Cut It Out , on which Willie Pickens and as a guest (on two tracks) Ira Sullivan participated and which was released in 1998 by Delmark Records . He has also worked with Tony Bennett , Clark Terry , Johnny Hammond Smith , Kenny Loggins , Jimmy McGriff , Randy Brecker and Arturo Sandoval throughout his career .
