Frank Grischek (born November 28, 1971 in Hamburg ) is a German musician and cabaret artist .

Life

Frank Grischek received musical training on the accordion , trumpet and piano at an early age . In 1990 Grischek founded the Hamburg Irish folk band “Roving Bottles” (accordion, (wooden transverse) flute, trumpet, piano, composer), which released three CDs. Since 1993 he has been the piano accompanist of the cabaret artist Käthe Lachmann for many years . Since 2002 there has been a collaboration as an accordionist with Henning Venske in over 30 programs, since 2007 a collaboration with Jochen Busse .

Since 2012 Grischek has also appeared as a stage artist with solo programs. Characteristic of Grischek's stage shows is his bad mood, his stoic expression of dry humor and his insulted reports of his painful experiences as an accordionist in everyday life. Interrupted by multifaceted and virtuoso accordion playing, from musette waltz, tango, classical to Irish folk.
