Frank Herrmann (born March 11, 1961 in Ratingen ) is a German politician ( Pirate Party ) and former member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Frank Herrmann has been a member of the Pirate Party since 2009. In the state elections in 2010 and 2012 , he ran unsuccessfully in the state electoral district of Düsseldorf III . He received a mandate in 2012 through his party's state list. In the state elections in 2017 , he no longer stood as a candidate on the state list, but only ran for the state constituency of Mettmann III and left the state parliament. On October 14, 2018, he was elected as the new chairman of the North Rhine-Westphalia Pirate Party at the state party conference of the North Rhine-Westphalia Pirate Party in Düsseldorf to succeed Michele Marsching , who had resigned . He was re-elected for two years at the state party conference in Herne in 2019.
