Haim Frank Ilfman
Haim Frank Ilfman (born March 18, 1970 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli composer .
Life
Haim Frank Ilfman learned piano and trombone as a child . After graduating from school, he began studying music at the Jaffa Conservatory, which he did not graduate out of disinterest. During a stay in Berlin in the early 1980s he met Klaus Doldinger , who was composing the music for The Neverending Story . He finally found his first paid job in a television production with Jan Hammer , when he was composing the music for the British television series Chancer .
Since the mid-1990s, Ilfman has been able to establish himself as a film composer and has since been responsible for over 40 film scores, including Nemesis Game , The Etruscan Smile and The Agent . For his work on Big Bad Wolves , he received both the Saturn Award for Best Film Music and the Ophir Award for Best Composer in 2014.
Ilfman lives in London , Los Angeles and Spain. He is fluent in English, Hebrew and German.
