Frank Minucci

Frank Minucci (born September 17, 1943 in Ashley , Mississippi , † August 20, 2014 ) was an American actor of Italian-American descent , author and preacher.

Minucci claims to have been involved in petty crime in his youth. His father, Carmine Minucci, is said to have worked as a soldato in a Mafia organization in New Jersey . After Frank himself repeatedly came into conflict with the law, he made his film debut in 1993 in Carlito's Way . In it he played an imprisoned mafia boss. In later films, too, he mostly played brutal criminals or types of criminals. He later switched to the profession of preacher. Together with William Hoffman, he published an autobiography in 1996.
