Frank R. Pfetsch

Frank R. Pfetsch (born September 2, 1936 in Karlsruhe ) is a German political scientist .

Frank Pfetsch studied economics and political science. He received his doctorate in 1965 on the development of a fascist leader state in the political philosophy of Robert Michels in Heidelberg . There he also completed his habilitation on the subject of the development of science policy in Germany: 1750–1914 . This was followed by activities at research institutions and in the former Federal Ministry for Scientific Research and as a consultant to UNESCO in various countries in Asia. From 1976 to 2003 he taught political science in Heidelberg until his retirement.
