Frank Wolf (born May 9, 1968 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In 1990 Wolf moved from VfB Kiel to the Bundesliga for FC St. Pauli . Wolf made his debut in the upper house of German football on matchday four of the 1990/91 season against Bayer 05 Uerdingen . In the further course of the season he was used regularly, he completed 22 games. He scored his only goal on matchday 9 against the eventual champions 1. FC Kaiserslautern : It was the winning goal, the game was won 1-0 by Pauli. At the end of the season, Wolf landed with his teammates on the relegation site. In the following games the Stuttgarter Kickers prevailed against Pauli, so the Hamburgers were relegated. This season he also made two appearances in the DFB Cup for FC. St. Pauli. Wolf initially did not play in the 2nd Bundesliga . After a brief stint at Bányász Siófok , he played the second half of the season at the Hungarian club, he played three games for St. Pauli in the promotion round to the Bundesliga in April and May 1992 and three more games in the second division in the 1992/93 season . He then returned to Holstein Kiel in 1993 , where he played until 2001. For the storks he came on August 13, 1994 in the DFB Cup in the 0-2 defeat against 1. FC Saarbrücken to a use. Then he let his career end at TuS Felde.
