Frank X. Shaw

Frank X. Shaw (actually Francis X. Shaw ; born September 15, 1895 in New York City , New York , † June 12, 1962 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film producer and assistant director .

Life

Shaw was initially an assistant director and was one of the nominees for the Oscar for best assistant director at the 1934 Academy Awards .

He later worked as a film producer (Associate Producer) in the 1940s and produced films such as Seitenstrasse ( Back Street , 1941), Consultation for Love ( Appointment for Love , 1941), Die Stubenfee ( His Butler's Sister , 1943), Das Lied of the golden West ( Can not Help Singing , 1944) and Christmas holidays ( Christmas holiday , 1944).
