Frankfurt Archaeological Writings

The Frankfurter Archäologische Schriften ("FArS" for short) are a series of books in which the monographs and anthologies of the Institute for Archaeological Sciences at the Goethe University in Frankfurt appear. Thematically, the contributions depict the respective focal points of the departments: Near Eastern and Classical archeology, archeology and history of the Roman provinces as well as prehistory and early history. The Frankfurter Archäologische Schriften have been published in the Dr. Rudolf Habelt Verlag , previously they were published by Reichert Verlag and Bibliopolis.

The series is edited by Hans-Markus von Kaenel , Rüdiger Krause , Jan-Waalke Meyer and Wulf Raeck .
