Franklin Milton
Franklin Eugene Milton (born August 19, 1907 in Carthage Missouri , USA , † October 16, 1985 in Agoura Hills , USA) was an American sound engineer .
Life
Milton won three Oscars for his work and was nominated three more times. Two, the one for Grand Prix (1966) and one for That Was the Wild West (1962), were later stolen from him and replaced by the Academy , but stolen again after a while.
He was married to Ethel Marion Erickson (November 29, 1939 to October 16, 1985). There were three children from this marriage. His son Gary E. Milton works as a cameraman. He is also the great-grandfather of actor Steele Savokinas.
