Agoura Hills is a city in the US state of California with 20,330 inhabitants (as of 2010). The urban area extends over an area of 21.2 km². The city is located in southwest Los Angeles County , around 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles .

Demographics

As of the 2010 census , there were 20,330 people in Agoura Hills. This means that the urban population has decreased by around 200 within a decade. In 2000, 20,537 people were registered in the city (as of 2000 census ). The vast majority of residents are white, a little over 78 percent. This means that the proportion of whites is above the average in the state of California. The proportion of Latinos is only around nine percent, while Asians and Afro-Americans are minorities.
