Frans Kok

Frans Kok (* 1924 - March 2015 ) was a Dutch football player .

Athletic career

Kok played for ADO Den Haag from 1942 , for which the goalkeeper played a total of 266 competitive games until 1959. In 1956 he missed with the team when professional football was introduced in the Netherlands, qualifying for the Eredivisie , but in 1957 he rose with the club in the first division. In 1959 he moved to the second division team Holland Sport , where he ended his active career four years later. He later worked as an amateur coach for the reserve team of ADO Den Haag, HSV Celeritas and VV Verburch .

Kok died shortly before his 91st birthday in spring 2015.
