- The Hague / Netherlands : The referendum on the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine will take place during the Dutch EU Council Presidency . 61 percent of voters vote against the agreement. - Nairobi / Kenya: After heavy rainfall, a six-story residential building in the Huruma district collapses. 33 fatalities have now been confirmed, over 70 people are missing. 150 families lived in the building that was supposed to be demolished because it was considered to be in danger of collapsing.
