František Šamberger

František Šamberger

František Šamberger (born February 12, 1871 in Kout na Šumavě (German: Kauth); † December 9, 1944 in Prague ) was a Czech dermatologist and professor at the Dermatological Clinic of the University of Prague .

Career

In 1896, Šamberger received his doctorate from the Prague Medical Faculty. In 1920, on his decisive initiative, an institute for sex sciences was founded at the University of Prague, which Ferdinand Pečírka initially took over. In 1928 he organized the first Slavic dermatologist congress in Warsaw.
