Franz-Gerd Kraemer

Franz-Gerd Kraemer (born April 30, 1943 in Koblenz ) is a German politician, entrepreneur and former manager.

Life

Kraemer passed the secondary school leaving certificate in 1960 and the Abitur in 1963. He then studied business administration at the University of Cologne, where he graduated in 1968 with a degree in business administration. He was managing partner of Kraemer Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungs-GmbH, Bendorf, managing director of Paul Kretzer KG, Keramik-Naturstein, Brühl / Cologne, managing director of MSK-GmbH Bendorf and managing director of Stein-Marmor Hornberg GmbH & Co. KG Koblenz.

In 1970 he became a member of the SPD and was deputy chairman of the SPD sub-district Mayen-Koblenz. He was a member of the Bendorf City Council and the Mayen-Koblenz District Council.

In 1991 he was elected to the twelfth state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate , to which he was a member until the end of the 1996 election period. In the state parliament, he was a member of the Committee on European Affairs, the Committee on Economics and Transport, the Budget and Finance Committee and the Audit Commission.
