Franz-Josef Payrhuber

Franz-Josef Payrhuber (born November 5, 1942 - † March 6, 2017 in Worms ) was a German author and pedagogue who worked in teacher training.

Life

Payrhuber was head of the German department at the Institute for Teacher Training (ILF) in Mainz. In 1996/97 he was a substitute professor at the University of Kassel ; then worked as a lecturer at the Heidelberg University of Education for literary studies and didactics. Payrhuber has published numerous literary and didactic essays and books, especially on drama and poetry; He was also co-editor of reading books for elementary schools and a lexicon for children's and youth literature.
