Franz Abraham

Franz Abraham (born March 6, 1964 in Rosenheim , Bavaria ) is a German event manager and music producer .

Life

Abraham already worked as a concert organizer in his youth and brought internationally renowned stars of classical music to his home town of Rosenheim . He also wanted to become a racing driver, but gave up this dream after a serious accident (1987). He studied philosophy and completed a business education.

In 1986 he founded his production company "Art Concerts" and organized concerts with David Bowie , Plácido Domingo , the Three Tenors and the Rolling Stones, among others . In 1992 in Munich and 1996 in Copenhagen he organized the music festival "Art Projekt", in which he combined different musical styles. In 1995, the world tour followed his open-air opera production " Carmina Burana " ("Carmina Burana Monumental Opera"). Since 2001 Abraham has concentrated on his own musical theater productions such as "Ben Hur Live" (2009) with the music of Stewart Copeland .

Due to an external application, ART CONCERTS GmbH filed for bankruptcy in 2010.
