Franz Bartscher

Franz Bartscher (born January 27, 1874 in Rietberg ; † June 16, 1939 there ) was a German lawyer and politician ( center ).

Bartscher attended school up to upper secondary and then entered the middle legal service. He was the district court secretary and until April 1924 Chief Justice Inspector in Iserlohn. Afterwards he was the syndic of the retail trade association for the city and district of Iserlohn.

Bartscher, who was a Catholic denomination, joined the center and was a board member of the Westphalia Provincial Association of his party. From 1909 to November 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . In Iserlohn he was a city councilor and city councilor. From 1921 to 1933 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia for the Iserlohn City and State constituency . This elected him as a deputy member from January 1930 until his dissolution in 1933 in the Prussian State Council .
