Franz Braun (politician, 1935)

Franz Braun (born June 11, 1935 in Konstanz ; † April 16, 2019 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Braun graduated from high school in 1955 and initially trained as an industrial clerk until 1958 . After completing his studies, he passed the first state examination in law in 1966 and the second state examination in 1970. He worked for the German Caritas Association in Berlin .

In 1971 Braun joined the CDU. In the Berlin election in 1981 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. In the 1990 election he was able to win the direct mandate for the Reinickendorf 1 constituency . In 1995 he left parliament.
