Franz Buchenrieder

Franz Xaver Buchenrieder is a German basketball trainer , official and former player.

career

Buchenrieders Heimatverein is the Turngemeinde (TG) Landshut . At the end of the 1980s he played in the basketball league  for FC Bayern while studying in Munich . He was the manager of the Landshut men's team, which in 1995 was promoted to the Bundesliga under coach Scott Etnyre. After the team as a result of relegation from the Bundesliga during the second division season 1996/97 from the second basketball league was withdrawn in the amateur field, managed Buchenrieder as manager and chairman of the TG's basketball department, the team in 2008 with the rise in the 2 . Bundesliga ProB returned to professional business.

In 2013 he took over the coaching position at the game community DJK Straubing / TV 64 Landshut. In 2015 he moved to Chiemgau , in summer 2019 he took up the post of sports director at TV Traunstein.
