Franz Eitzinger

Franz Eitzinger (born April 26, 1930 in St. Georgen im Attergau ) is a former Upper Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and union official. Eitzinger was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag from 1985 to 1991 .

Eitzinger was employed as an employee of the chemical fiber Lenzing and rose to the works council in 1957. In 1977 he moved to the Knorr food factory in Wels, where he took over the position of works council chairman in 1981. Subsequently, he represented the interests of the employees in this function on the Supervisory Board.

From 1965 Eitzinger became politically active as district manager of the FPÖ-Vöcklabruck and in 1976 took over the function of the chamber council in the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor . In addition, he was state employee representative for the FPÖ. Eitzinger was a member of the FPÖ federal party leadership as well as a member of the FPÖ regional party executive committee of Upper Austria and a member of the FPÖ federal party executive committee. He was also a member of the Upper Austria regional management of the private employees' union. The FPÖ represented Eitzinger between October 28, 1985 and August 31, 1991 in the Upper Austrian state parliament, where he resigned from the FPÖ on June 12, 1990 and was active as a Wilder MP .

Eitzinger is married and has three children.
