Franz Gescher

Franz Gescher (born July 1, 1884 in Essen , † October 15, 1945 in Bad Kudowa ) was a German theologian and lawyer.

Life

He studied philosophy and theology at the University of Bonn . He was ordained a priest on August 10, 1908 in Cologne . From August 22, 1908 he was chaplain at the Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Düsseldorf , from November 23, 1911 to St. Nikolaus (Cologne-Sülz) , from March 31, 1915 at the Albanskirche in Cologne. From 1930 he teaches as a canon law professor at the University of Breslau .
