Franz Hagemann (full name Franz August Hagemann ; * 1798 , † 1858 ) was a Royal Hanover judicial councilor in Hildesheim and director of the Hildesheim law office .

Franz Hagemann was a son of the office director Theodor Hagemann, who worked in Celle, as well as a brother of the building councilor Leopold Hagemann , who worked in Hanover , the bailiff Georg Ludwig Wilhelm Hagemann and the customs director Th. Hagemann, who worked in Lüneburg .

Career

After the law graduate had been made an honorary citizen of the city of Hildesheim in 1835 , Franz Hagemann was appointed director of the Hildesheim law firm in the revolutionary year of 1848.

Hagemannstrasse

In 1906, Hagemannstrasse in the northern part of the city ​​was named after Hildesheim's honorary citizen.
