Franz Heinrich Wendelin von Kageneck

Franz Heinrich Wendelin Freiherr von Kageneck (born October 21, 1704 in Waldshut ; † March 31, 1781 ) was a German bishop and auxiliary bishop in Eichstätt .

On June 24, 1746 he was ordained a deacon and on June 26, 1746 a priest for the diocese of Eichstätt. On March 15, 1751 he was appointed auxiliary bishop in Eichstätt and titular bishop of Camana Armeniae . On April 25, 1751, Johann Anton II von Freyberg -Hopferau consecrated him as bishop . On April 30, 1758 he consecrated Raymund Anton von Strasoldo with the assistance of Franz Ignaz Albert von Werdenstein , Auxiliary Bishop of Freising , and Franz Xaver von Adelmann von Adelmannsfelden , Auxiliary Bishop of Augsburg , as Bishop of Eichstätt and assisted in the ordination of the Bishop of Konstanz, Maximilian Augustin Christoph von Rodt . On April 28, 1780, he resigned. He was thus the last auxiliary bishop in Eichstätt so far.
