Franz Hopf
Franz Hopf (born July 4, 1807 in Winterlingen , † May 27, 1877 in Calw ) was a German politician, Protestant pastor and member of the state parliament in Württemberg .
During his studies in 1824, Hopf became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity and was vicar from 1828 and pastor in Hohenhaslach from 1844 . In 1849 he was elected to the Württemberg Chamber of Estates as a member of the Vaihingen district, of which he was a member until 1876. In 1853 he was removed from the church service and took over the editing of the democratic magazine Der Beobachter ; In 1862 he founded Gradaus .
