Franz Josef Bautz

Franz Josef Bautz (born July 16, 1925 in Augsburg ; † December 11, 2011 in Bad Endorf ) was a German journalist and publicist.

Life

Franz J. Bautz founded the magazine Ende und Anfang in 1946 , which he headed until 1949. He then worked as a freelance journalist and editor for various newspapers and radio stations. As an editor at the Familienfunk des Bayerischen Rundfunks , he was in charge of the program Das Notebook . In 1984 he became head of the cultural criticism department . After his retirement he lived as a freelance journalist in Bad Endorf.

He was editor of the history of the Jews .
