Franz Josef Hartlaub

Franz Josef Hartlaub (according to other sources Franz Joseph Hartlaub ) (born February 13, 1809 in Aschaffenburg ; † November 7, 1862 ) was the first district administrator of Marktheidenfeld .

Hartlaub was the son of Christina Schwind and the master baker Michael Hartlaub. He completed a law degree and passed the state examination; He then worked as a functionary and assessor at several Bavarian regional courts, including in Würzburg in 1852 . In 1843 he married Eva Maria Leininger in Volkach . On February 26, 1853, at Hartlaub's request, he was given the post of district judge in Marktheidenfeld. When the judiciary and administration were separated on July 1, 1862, Hartlaub continued to work in administration. He died on November 7, 1862 after being sick for two days.
