Franz Justus Frenzel
Franziskus Justus Frenzel (* 1740 in Auerstedt , † 1823 in Oßmannstedt ) was a German pastor and botanist .
Frenzel was pastor in Oßmannstedt in Thuringia from 1794 until the year of his death .
In 1800 he received the silver medal of the Imperial Academy of Natural Scientists in Erlangen ( Cothenius Medal ) for a work on the prize topic about the rising and falling of the sap in plants .
