Franz Karl Anton Rose

Franz Karl Anton Rose ( October 1, 1888 - January 19, 1971 ) was a German journalist and writer. He wrote National Socialist and anti-Semitic propaganda literature .

Life

From 1910 to 1914 Rose was an editor at the Mülheimer Zeitung and from 1911 to 1912 also for the General-Anzeiger for Mülheim an der Ruhr . From 1914 he took part in the First World War as a member of the Schutztruppe for German South West Africa and was then interned until 1919. In the interwar period he worked as an author of National Socialist and anti-Semitic propaganda literature . From 1940 to 1943 he was an editor at the colonial picture newspaper Kolonie und Heimat in Munich. He was also a member of the Reich Association of German Writers (1933–1940), the Reich Association of the German Press (1933–1945) and the Reich Colonial Association (1940–1943).
