Franz Kock

Franz Kock (born December 24, 1901 in Schönberg ; † January 1, 1975 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Kock studied law in Kiel and Berlin until 1925. After completing his studies, he entered the judicial service and worked as an assistant judge in Kiel from 1929 to 1933. In 1933 he joined the NSDAP and the SA . From 1934 to 1940 he worked as a district judge in Kiel. From 1941 to 1945 he was a consultant in the Reich Ministry for Science, Education and National Education . After the Second World War, Kock worked in the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Education , since 1953 as a ministerial director. From September 13, 1952 until his retirement on December 31, 1966, he was State Secretary in this ministry. Reinhold Borzikowsky was his successor .

For many years he also served as the first chairman of the Schleswig-Holstein Homeland Federation .
