Franz Molt (born October 10, 1910 in Deutsch-Wagram (Lower Austria), † July 31, 1990 in Vienna ) was an Austrian artist .

Live and act

Molt graduated Graphical Education and Research Institute , and then studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts at Josef Dobrowsky and at the Master School of Ferdinand ANDRI . Molt lived in London and Paris for a long time . In 1961 he became a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus , where he received the “Golden Laurel” award in 1981. Molt was also a member of the Marchfeld Art Association. Molt was often involved in building art , with sgraffiti , mosaics and frescoes . Stylistically, he remained connected to the figurative representation, but in a simplified form. He approached abstraction painterly. Molt also worked as a commercial artist.
